No ballplaying shall be permitted or allowed in any of the public
streets or lanes within the limits of the Borough under the penalty
of a sum not exceeding $1 for the first offense, and not exceeding
$10 for each subsequent offense, 1/2 thereof to be for the use of
the Borough and the other half for the use of the person complaining,
with costs of suit; and it shall be the duty of the constables, and
it is hereby enjoined upon them, to see that this article be enforced
by commencing suits for said penalty before the Mayor or any Magisterial
District Judge, in the name of the Borough, as often as they know
of any infraction of said ordinance.
