The fees and description for on-site sewage systems in the Township
shall be as follows:
A. Planning module review:
(1) Minor subdivision (one lot to 10 lots): $25 plus $15 per deep pit
exam.
(2) Major subdivision (over 10 lots): $50 plus $15 per deep pit exam.
(3) Commercial, industrial: $50 plus $15 per deep pit exam.
B. Permit fees for new systems and additions to systems:
(1) Residential, individual system.

Inspection: $25 (conventional); $50 (alternative).
(2) Residential, community system.
(b)
Testing: $30 per equivalent dwelling unit (EDU).
(c)
Inspection: $30 per EDU (conventional); $60 per EDU (alternative).
(3) Commercial, industrial.

Inspection: $30 per EDU (conventional); $60 per EDU (alternative).
(4) Retesting.
(a)
Reexamination of test pit: $15 per test pit.
(b)
Reobservation of perc test: $125 per set of six holes.
C. Corrections, repairs, alterations to existing systems:
(1) Residential, individual system.

(2) Residential, community system.

An equivalent dwelling unit (EDU) is defined to be a flow of
350 gallons per day.
No work is to begin until the fee is paid, and the permit acquired
and in the hands of the contractor, with the exception of emergency
situations.
Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of
this article, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a
fine not to exceed $300.
