[Amended 4-24-1995 by Ord. No. 1995-2]
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 30 days.
Such fine shall be issued in the form of a citation issued by a Township police officer. The police officer issuing the citation shall deliver it to the property owner or tenant having responsibility for the property, lawfully present on the premises at which the violation is occurring at the time the citation is issued; but if no person is lawfully present on the premises at such time, then the police officer shall have a summons sent by the Magisterial District Judge to the premises. Each day that a violation continues shall be considered a separate violation of this article.
