All new mechanical refrigeration systems shall be installed
and all existing installations shall be maintained in a standard safe
manner which will minimize the life, health and fire hazards of the
installation. Installation shall be in accordance with nationally
recognized good practice.
No installation of a refrigeration unit or system containing
in excess of 20 pounds of refrigerant, other than air or water, shall
be made without a permit obtained from the Fire Prevention Division.
