This chapter shall be known as the "Residency Law of the Village
of Lake Placid."
Pursuant to § 3-300 of the New York State Village
Law, the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Lake Placid
hereby waives the Village residency requirements for the Office of
Village Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Village Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer;
provided, however, such Village officials must be a resident of the
County of Essex and remain a resident of Essex County while in office.
