[Adopted as Art. XII of the 2005 Bylaws]
The Town shall hire or contract with an independent certified
public accountant or accounting firm to conduct an annual audit, with
the written report due not more than nine (9) months after the close
of the fiscal year. Such audit will be in accordance with the Massachusetts
General Laws and generally accepted accounting practices. This document
shall become public upon its voted acceptance by the Board of Selectmen.
