The City Clerk shall be elected by
the City Council to serve at the will of the Council or until a successor
be elected and qualified; and the City Clerk shall be subject to all
laws of the State of Missouri and ordinances of the City of O'Fallon.
The person appointed as the City Clerk shall be placed by the City
Administrator in a salary range which takes into consideration all
duties, including those of City Clerk, performed by this employee.
In case of a tie the Mayor shall have a vote to decide the election.
