The Code of the City of Camden shall be amended and supplemented
to reflect the following titles in classified service with corresponding
appellations comprising the uniformed force in the Department of Fire.

B.
Firefighters and firefighters bilingual of permanent classification
shall function in the following grades of designated service:
(1)
Recruit firefighter, while serving a working test period during basic
training.
(2)
Probationary firefighter, a member of less than one year continuous
permanent service, while serving a working test period following graduation
from basic training.
(3)
Apprentice firefighter, a member of more than one year service but
less than three years' continuous permanent service.
(4)
Firefighter, a member of at least three years' continuous permanent
service.
The Code of the City of Camden shall be amended and supplemented
to reflect the designated positions in the uniformed force not to
exceed the following authorized number:
