As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
FIREARM
Any pistol, revolver, gun, rifle, cannon, artillery piece or other ordnance, including any miniature weapon which acts by force of gunpowder or other explosive, including any instrument or device designed to propel any missile by the use of jet, rocket, spring or compressed air propulsion.
It is unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any firearm within the boundaries of the City of Camden.

It is unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any firearm within the boundaries of the City of Camden for the purpose of hunting any animal, bird or creature except in a situation where there is a clear and present danger to the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of this City, and such hunting shall be done only by authorized personnel.

Unless otherwise provided in the chapter, penalties against persons violating the provisions of this chapter shall be imposed in accordance with the provisions of § 1-15.
