There may be designated by the Director of the Department one
or more City employees to serve under the supervision of the Bureau
of Traffic Control within the Department of Police as parking enforcement
officers. Such person or persons shall have the powers of a law enforcement
officer only to the extent that they shall be empowered to issue summonses

with nonmoving motor vehicle violations and ordinance violations.
Such persons may be designated on a temporary or permanent basis to

7-69 of the City of Camden Code and N.J.S.A. 40:11A-1 et seq., the Parking Authority Law.
