A. No-passing
zones shall be established in the streets at the following points:
1. On a curve in the roadway or approach thereto; and
2. At the top of a hill or on an approach thereto.
B. No-passing
zones shall be designated by the painting of a yellow stripe not less
than four (4) inches in width on the street surface, as follows:
1. On two (2) lane roadways, the yellow no-passing stripe shall be applied
in the center of the right lane;
2. On four (4) lane roadways, the yellow no-passing stripe shall be
applied by use of two (2) yellow stripes, one (1) on each side of
and adjacent to the centerline. No-passing zones may be further identified
by roadside signs or by painting on the street surface the words "No-Passing
Zone".
C. No
person shall operate any vehicle to the left of any designated no-passing
zone after such zone has been laid out and designated in the street.
