As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
Includes mobile homes, campers, buses, trailers, travel trailers,
popup trailers, boats, personal watercraft (of any size, shape, form
and/or type), and all-terrain vehicles.
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct or operate any
trailer park or campground within the Borough, and, further, it shall
be unlawful for any person to conduct or operate any camp where tents
are so used. This section shall not be construed to prevent certain
organizations or individuals from engaging in the pastime commonly
called "camping" or "camping out," but rather is expressly designed
to prohibit the use of lands within the Borough for the purpose of
setting up and maintaining campsites wherein such persons might establish
living quarters for themselves and their families.
The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by the Building
Inspector of the Borough.
Any person who violates this chapter shall be subject the fines and penalties set forth in Chapter
1, Article
I, §
1-2 of this Code (general penalty), in the discretion of the Judge imposing the same.
