A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of St. Robert, being marked
and designated as the 2005 National Electrical Code as published by the National Fire Protection Association, be and
is hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of St. Robert,
in the State of Missouri; for regulating the design, construction,
quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair,
location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance
of electrical systems in the City of St. Robert and providing for
the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each
and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions, and terms of such
2005 National Electrical Code, published by the National Fire Protection
Association, on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
St. Robert are hereby referred to, adopted and made part hereof as
if fully set out in this Chapter.

The following Sections of the National Electrical Code adopted
herein, are hereby revised:
Section 101.1 Insert: City of St. Robert.
Section 106.5.2 Insert: Attachment "Fee Schedule" see Appendix A to Chapter
500 of the Municipal Code.

Ordinance Number 1037 of the City of St. Robert entitled "An
Ordinance Adopting The 1999 National Electrical Code (NFPA) and all
other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.

Nothing in this Chapter or in the 2002 National Electrical Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes or action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in Section
512.020 of this Chapter; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or effected by this Chapter.

Any person who shall violate a provision of this code or shall
fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred
dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days,
or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues
after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
