Except as otherwise provided in this Chapter, every vehicle
stopped or parked upon a roadway where there are adjacent curbs shall
be so stopped or parked with the right-hand wheels of such vehicle
parallel to and within eighteen (18) inches of the right-hand curb.
On those streets which have been signed or marked by the City
Traffic Engineer for angle parking, no person shall park or stand
a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway
indicated by such signs or markings.

A. The
driver of any vehicle shall not turn such vehicle so as to proceed
in the opposite direction on any street in the City. The driver of
any vehicle shall not cross the oncoming lane of traffic to park in
angle parking or parallel parking.
B. The
following parking of vehicles shall be a violation of this Section:
1. Backing into angle parking and parking wrong way (facing traffic).
2. Where parallel parking is permitted, vehicles shall be so stopped
or parked that the right-hand wheels of the vehicle are parallel to
and within eighteen (18) inches of the right-hand side of the curb
or edge of the roadway. Parking of motor vehicles on streets within
the City limits shall be parallel to the curb or edge of the street,
except where angle parking is specifically authorized.
3. Except as otherwise provided in this Chapter, every vehicle stopped
or parked upon a one-way street or roadway where parking is permitted
shall be so stopped or parked that the right-hand wheels of the vehicle
are parallel to and within eighteen (18) inches of the curb or edge
of the roadway, or the left-hand curb or edge of the roadway, in the
direction of authorized traffic movement.
4. Except as otherwise provided in this Chapter, when angle parking
or perpendicular parking is required, the front wheel or wheels shall
be within six (6) inches of the curb or edge of the roadway.
5. No vehicle shall park in designated parking spaces so as to occupy
more than one (1) parking space.
