No person shall bathe or swim within the City in view of persons on or in any street, way, place or building unless properly clothed.

All children under 12 years of age shall be allowed free admission to any athletic event conducted on property owned by the City between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

A. 
No person shall smoke on any portion of any property, to include all enclosed spaces and outdoor areas, that is owned by the City of Taunton and:
(1) 
Contains a park, playground, athletic field, swimming pool, or splash pad;
(2) 
Is conservation land or is otherwise under the control of the Conservation Commission;
(3) 
Is the park known as Taunton Green, to include sidewalks adjacent thereto;
(4) 
Is the park known as Church Green; or
(5) 
Is within 25 feet of the property line of any property described in the foregoing clauses.
B. 
For the purposes of this section, "smoke" and "tobacco product" shall have the meanings as set forth in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 270, § 22(a) and § 6(a), respectively, as same may be amended from time to time.
C. 
The department in charge of each respective property shall cause appropriate signs to be conspicuously posted and may promulgate such rules and regulations as may be reasonably necessary to implement this section.
D. 
Any person in violation of this section shall be fined $100 per offense. Enforcement of this section shall be by noncriminal disposition under MGL c. 40, § 21D, or by criminal complaint.
