Copies of the City of Quincy's official salary schedules are
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
If any City employee retires within 30 days of the effective
date of a salary increase, then as to such employee the salary increase
shall become effective 30 days prior to the effective date of the
increase in figuring the employee's pension.

The City Clerk shall receive the sum of $500 per year as Clerk
of the Board of Registrars.

All vacancies in full-time positions in the municipal service,
except those directly appointed by the Mayor without confirmation,
shall be posted on a prominent place on the municipal website in keeping
with civil service requirements, affirmative action requirements,
and collective bargaining agreements at least 10 days prior to any
appointment to such position. Posting notice should include, at minimum,
the title of the position, description of the duties, educational
and or professional qualifications, compensation range and the name,
and email for the prospective applicants to obtain or send information.
