Section 115.170 Establishment of Parks Department.

There is hereby created a Parks Department of the City of California, Missouri.

The Mayor, with the advice and consent of a majority of the members of the Board of Aldermen of the City, shall have the power to appoint the Supervisor of the Parks Department.

The Supervisor of the Parks Department shall have charge of all City parks and park programs, and shall report at least monthly to the Mayor and the Aldermen as to the status of the parks, the financial standing of the Parks Department, and the needs of the Department. The Supervisor shall have such other duties as the Mayor and Board of Aldermen may from time to time determine.
