A.
There
is hereby created the office of Chief of Police, an executive office
of the City of California, Missouri. The Mayor, with the consent and
approval of the majority of the members of the Board of Aldermen shall
have the power to appoint the Chief of Police.
B.
The
Chief of Police shall perform all duties required by law and any other
duties required of him/her by the Board of Aldermen.
C.
His/her
compensation for these additional duties will be determined by the
Board of Aldermen from time to time.
