A. All
parks in the City of California shall be open for the use and enjoyment
of the public from the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. on a daily
basis.
B. The
use of, or loitering in all parks in the City of California except
during those hours which the park is open to the public is prohibited.

A. The
following rules shall apply to the use of the Proctor Park tennis
court facility and the use of the basketball and tennis court facility
at the City Park in California, Missouri.
1. The tennis courts shall be used solely for the purpose of playing
tennis, and the basketball courts solely for the purpose of playing
basketball, and no other purpose (including, but not limited to, skate
boarding, volleyball, and bicycling) shall be permitted.
2. No charge shall be assessed for the use of the courts, or for the
available lighting.
3. Wheelchair use of the tennis or basketball courts (for wheelchair
tennis or basketball) shall be permitted.
4. The courts shall be open to use by the public, for the purposes herein
stated.
5. Only soft or rubber soled shoes, such as tennis or court shoes, shall
be used or worn by persons using the facilities.
B. Any
person found guilty of violating any of the terms of this Section
shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00)
or no more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) per offense, plus the
true cost of repair (reimbursement or replacement) for any damages
to the Court Facility.

A. The
Park Board, appointed by the Mayor of the City of California, shall
be in charge of maintenance of the ball park and of scheduling all
activities in the ball park. All tournament fees and other charges
for use of the ball park shall be payable in advance to the City Collector.
Any expense exceeding the budgeted amount shall be approved by the
Board of Aldermen.
B. The
upper (East) ball field shall be reserved annually beginning with
the third (3rd) weekend in May and ending with the third (3rd) weekend
in July for the Babe Ruth League Baseball Program.
C. The
following conditions shall apply to the Babe Ruth Baseball Program:
1. No charge will be assessed for the use of the field of lights.
2. Field lights shall not be turned on earlier than one-half (½)
hour prior to sunset and shall not be turned off later than 11:00
P.M.
3. The lights shall not be used in any game or practice when fewer than
five (5) players are involved.
4. In the event there is no Babe Ruth League formed or Babe Ruth League
schedule received by the last weekend in May, the upper ball field
schedule will be established by the Park Board.

Any person who shall be found upon the premises of the City lagoons or shall pursue, shoot at, take or attempt to take wildlife within the confines of said lagoons, or shall discharge any firearms upon said premises, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction shall be punished by a fine as set forth in Section
100.040.

A. From
and after April 6, 1981, it shall be unlawful for any person to remove
more than three (3) carp fish or more than fifteen (15) fish of any
kind in any one (1) day from the lake in Proctor Park in the City
of California, Missouri.
B. No
person, association, corporation or group of persons shall launch,
permit to be launched, place, permit to be placed or permit any boat,
raft, yacht, or any other flotation device on Proctor Lake in the
City of California, Missouri.
