The purpose of this District is to provide for single family
residential development on medium sized lots, together with such churches,
recreational facilities, and accessory uses as may be necessary or
are normally compatible with residential surroundings. This District
is located to protect existing development of this character and contains
vacant land considered appropriate for such development in the future.
The regulations set forth in the Article or set forth elsewhere in
this Chapter, when referred to in this Article, are the regulations
in the "R-2" Residential District.

A building or premises shall be used only for the following
purpose: Any use permitted in the "R-1" Residential District.

The height and area regulations set forth in Article
XIV shall be observed.

Off-street parking spaces shall be provided in accordance with the requirements for specific uses set forth in Article
XV.
