There is hereby established under the terms of this article, a public utility for the purpose of operating the fee-based recreation programs for the residents of the Township of Mount Olive. The utility for accounting purposes will be a separate entity, having its own borrowing capacity, its own separate accounts and its own separate property.
The name by which the utility shall be known is "The Township of Mount Olive Recreation Utility," hereinafter referred to as the "Recreation Utility."
It shall be the function of the Recreation Utility to raise money necessary to pay for recreational purposes and for improving and equipping the same; to pay or make provision for the payment of the reasonable expenses in each fiscal year of the Recreation Utility pertaining to those programs.
For purposes of financial operations and more specifically for purposes of accounting for the revenues and expenditures of the Recreation Utility, said financial operation shall be specifically in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:4-33, N.J.S.A. 40A:4-34 and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-35.

Sunshine Scholarship Fund, arboretum plantings, sponsor signs, association services, fundraisers, etc.

Science, languages, computers/technology, finance, business/careers, music, self-improvement, SAT-ACT prep, scout workshops, preschool programs, nutrition, etc.

Aerobics, exercise, yoga, zumba, dance, karate, gymnastics, tai chi, mommy and me movement, positive parent, special needs, etc.

Beach memberships and any future memberships for a pool or rec center
