NOTE: On June 22, 1954, the Borough Council adopted the
following as Resolution No. 152:
Whereas, it appears under the Administrative Code of 1929,
Article 21, Section 2102, which may be found on Page 278 of the Pamphlet
Laws, the Department of Health has power:
"(1) To take over the administration of the health laws
in any such Borough or township at the expense of the Department whenever
the Borough or township shall request the Department to do so and
the Department shall deem it advisable to comply with such request."
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Borough Council
of the Borough of Littlestown, in meeting assembled:
1. The Department of Health of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
be and it is by this resolution requested, under the provisions of
the Administrative Code of 1929, Article 21, Section 2102, to take
over the administration of the health laws within the Borough of Littlestown,
Adams County, Pennsylvania, at the expense of the Department of Health.
2. The proper officers of the Borough be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to send a copy of this resolution to
the Department of Health for the purpose of making known to said Department
the request herein incorporated."
