No person shall post any handbill, notice or advertisement of any kind whatsoever or print, paint, stamp or otherwise mark any words, letters, figures, signs or token of any sort or kind, on any flagstone, curbstone, sidewalk, telegraph, telephone or electric light pole, shade tree or fence or any property of said Village.
No person shall erect, maintain or cause to be erected or maintained any post, pole, guy line or attachment thereto, for the purpose of supporting a sign or other display advertising device, which is placed in, upon or over any sidewalk, square, public place, street or gutter or connected thereto in any manner whatsoever.
Any person, partnership or corporation who or which commits, takes part or assists in any violation of any provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a Type A penalty as set forth in § 1-15 of the Village Code.
