It shall be unlawful for any cattle, horses, sheep, swine, fowl, goats or geese to be permitted to run at large or to be pastured in any public place or street in the Village.

Any person, partnership or corporation who or which commits, takes part or assists in any violation of any provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to a Type A penalty as set forth in § 1-15 of the Village Code.
It shall be the duty of the police authorities or Street Commissioner of the Village to impound the cattle, horse, sheep, swine, fowl, goats or geese found running at large or pastured in violation of this article, and keep the same until disposed of according to law.

It shall be unlawful for any person owning, boarding or otherwise keeping or having in his or her custody a dog within the Village of South Nyack to permit such dog to be at large elsewhere than on the premises of the owner unless said dog is muzzled or on a leash or except it is on the premises of another person with the knowledge and assent of such other person.

A. 
It shall be the responsibility of every person owning, boarding or otherwise keeping or having in his custody a dog within the Village of South Nyack to immediately remove from any street, sidewalk or other public place or privately owned property (other than the dog owner's property) any defecation made by such dog.
B. 
Every person, while walking a dog along a public street, sidewalk or a public place, shall carry with him/her a device commonly known as a "pooper scooper" or such other implements or material that shall be capable of being utilized for the purpose of removing the defecation and carrying the defecation so removed to the premises of the owner of the dog for proper disposal.

Any person, partnership or corporation who or which commits, takes part or assists in any violation of any provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to a Type A penalty as set forth in § 1-15 of the Village Code.
Any duly appointed dog warden or any peace officer of the Village of South Nyack shall seize and confine any dog found at large in violation of this article.
