Village of South Nyack, NY Chapter 237 Ponds and Reservoirs

§ 237-1 Duty to maintain and repair.

All persons and corporations owning or occupying property upon which a pond or artificial reservoir is located shall keep the dams and walls of such pond or reservoir in proper repair and in safe and secure condition.

§ 237-2 Penalties for offenses.

Any person, partnership or corporation who or which commits, takes part or assists in any violation of any provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a Type A penalty as set forth in § 1-15 of the Village Code.
