No person shall park any vehicle upon a street, other than an
alley, in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available
less than ten (10) feet of the width of the roadway for free movement
of vehicular traffic.
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in such a manner
or under such conditions as to leave available less than ten (10)
feet of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular
traffic, and no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within
an alley in such position as to block the driveway entrance to any
abutting property.
The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect signs upon
the left-hand side of any one-way street to prohibit the standing
or parking of vehicles, and when such signs are in place, no person
shall stand or park a vehicle upon such left-hand side in violation
of any such sign.
In the event a highway includes two (2) or more separate roadways
and traffic is restricted to one (1) direction upon any such roadway,
no person shall stand or park a vehicle upon the left-hand side of
such one-way roadway unless signs are erected to permit such standing
or parking. The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to determine when
standing or parking may be permitted upon the left-hand side of any
such one-way roadway and to erect signs giving notice thereof.

No person shall permit any vehicle operated by him/her or under
his/her supervision and control to remain parked in any one place
in the limited parking area for a continuous period of more than two
(2) hours; and no person shall permit any vehicle operated by him/her
or under his/her supervision and control to occupy space in the limited
parking area, whether at one point or a series of points in said area
for more than four (4) hours during any continuous eight-hour period;
provided, however, that the provisions of this Section shall not be
held to apply, nor be enforced, on any Sunday, nor between the hours
of 6:00 P.M. in the evening and 7:00 A.M. in the morning on days other
than Sunday.

No driver shall double-park his/her vehicle and leave it; and
no driver shall allow his/her vehicle to remain double-parked for
a longer period than five (5) minutes, or after having been directed
to move said vehicle by the Chief of Police or other officer of the
City.

No person shall park a truck on any street in the limited parking
area, except pickup trucks of less than one (1) ton capacity; and
no vehicle of more than twenty (20) feet in overall length shall be
parked on any street in the limited parking area.

The City Marshal may reserve within a convenient distance of
the entrance to the office of any physician, osteopath or chiropractor,
a space for the parking of one (1) vehicle for each such physician,
osteopath, or chiropractor, and designate such space with a sign which
shall include the words, "No Parking" and "Reserved for Doctor" and
with such other markings as the Chief of Police may deem appropriate;
and no person shall park any vehicle in any space so reserved or designated.

A. There shall be no parking of unattached trailers on the City streets.

This includes, but is not limited to, unattached trailers such
as the following: semi-trailers, tent trailers, travel trailers, fifth
wheel trailers, boat trailers, utility trailers and campers not mounted
on trucks.

Unless doing business, there shall be no parking of semi-trucks,
truck-tractor or truck-tractor and trailer combinations or trailers
on the streets within the City of Sweet Springs.
