The purpose of this chapter is to establish a snowmobile route and provide safe and enjoyable snowmobile recreation consistent with public rights and interest.
The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the following streets: Mill Street, Main Street, W. Old Hwy. Street; and Water Street, within the jurisdiction of the Village. The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by the Sheriff's Department of Green County.
A. 
The area designated as a snowmobile route shall be as follows: from the trail, to Mill Street, to W. Old Hwy. Road, to Water Street, to Main Street, to Mill Street, ending at the Browntown Fire Station. In addition, parking must be in designated parking spaces and not on private property, unless prior approval has been obtained from the property owner.
B. 
The area shall be designated by signs placed at the beginning of the route and at such locations and intervals as necessary to enable the snowmobile operators to follow the route. The route signs will designate a 10 mph speed limit.
