All residents shall discontinue the practice of burning trash and shall remove the containers used to burn in burn barrels, as well as any stockpile or container used to store any previously burned trash be removed from their property and properly disposed of.
What you can burn and when you can have an outdoor fire.
A. 
Fires for outdoor cooking.
B. 
Campfires.
C. 
Open burning of leaves, brush, plant clippings and untreated or unpainted wood.
D. 
If a container is used to burn yard waste or for campfires, it shall not exceed 24 inches in depth.
E. 
When the local Fire Chief issues a fire ban, you shall not burn outdoors until the ban is lifted.
A. 
The Browntown Village Board of Trustees and the Browntown Cadiz Jordan Fire Chief are authorized to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
B. 
The penalty for violation of any portion of this chapter shall be a forfeiture of not less than $50 for the first offense, $100 for the second offense or up to $1,000 for subsequent offenses, as approved by the Browntown Village Board.
