A. 
In the Heavy Industrial District, buildings and land may be used for any purposes whatsoever, except residential, not in conflict with any ordinance of the Village; provided, however, that no building or occupancy permit shall be issued for any of the following or other extremely nauseating, obnoxious, offensive or unwholesome uses until and unless the location of such use shall have been approved by the Village Board, after a public hearing shall have been held thereon, and any such decision by the Village Board shall be consistent with the purpose, spirit and intent of this chapter:

(1) 
Acid manufacture.
(2) 
Automobile or machinery wrecking, salvaging or rebuilding.
(3) 
Cement, lime, gypsum or plaster of paris manufacture.
(4) 
Distillation of bones.
(5) 
Explosives manufacture or storage.
(6) 
Fat rendering.
(7) 
Fertilizer manufacture.
(8) 
Forage plant.
(9) 
Garbage, offal or dead animal reduction or dumping.
(10) 
Glue manufacture.
(11) 
Junkyard.
(12) 
Petroleum refining.
(13) 
Smelting of tin, copper, zinc or iron ores.
(14) 
Stockyard, stock loading yard or chute or abattoir.
B. 
In no case shall one-family, two-family, or multiple-family dwellings be permitted in the M-2 District.
No building hereafter erected or structurally altered shall exceed 75 feet in height.
In the Heavy Industrial District, neither rear yards nor side yards shall be required except as follows:
A. 
Where a lot abuts upon the side of a lot in the Residence District, there shall be a side yard of not less than six feet in width.
B. 
No building or use which is excluded from the Business District shall be permitted within 20 feet of any lot in the Residence District.
In the Heavy Industrial District, all courts required by this chapter shall comply with the regulations for such courts in the Business District.
