The City Council shall annually in the month of January and
whenever a vacancy occurs in such office elect a Clerk of Committees,
who shall hold this office until a successor is elected.
Under the direct supervision of the City Clerk, City Auditor
and with minimal supervision, performs multifaceted and complex general
office duties. Working independently and with others in a fast-paced
and customer service oriented environment. Coordinating, scheduling
and staffing all of the City Council and City Council subcommittee
meetings. Taking and maintaining accurate meeting minutes.
In accordance with Chapter
72, Article
I, Job Classifications and Salaries, §
72-1, official salary schedules shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk.
