The Town Council shall, by resolution at its regularly scheduled
March meeting, set the compensation of all elected officials within
the Town: the nine-member Town Council, five-member School Committee,
five-member Planning Board and Town Clerk.
The compensation set by the Town Council shall be for the subsequent
fiscal year beginning July 1. The Town Council shall not amend the
compensation at any other meeting. The compensation may be set at
zero.
