The Building Inspector, as certified by the Department of Safety
and Professional Services, is hereby authorized and directed to administer
and enforce all of the provisions of the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling
Code.
No person shall build or cause to be built any one- or two-family
dwelling without first obtaining a Wisconsin uniform building permit
for such dwelling. Such permit shall be furnished by the Town of Algoma
Building Inspector before any on-site construction within the scope
of this article is commenced, except where a permit to start construction
has been issued in accordance with § SPS 320.09(9)(b), Wis.
Adm. Code. Application for a uniform building permit shall be on forms
obtained from the Town of Algoma Building Inspector. No application

on the form.
The Town Board shall, by resolution, determine fees to cover
expenses for plan examination, inspections, and the issuance of the

the Building Inspector at the time the Wisconsin Uniform Building

When any work is begun on site without first obtaining a permit
therefor as required herein, the Building Inspector shall have the
power and authority to stop work until a permit has been procured.
The permit fees specified herein shall be doubled, but the payment
of such doubled fees shall not relieve any person from fully complying
with all of the regulations of this article.

or Chs. SPS 320, 321, 322, 323, 324 and 325, Wis. Adm. Code, is adjudged
unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction,
the remaining provisions shall not be affected thereby.
