There shall be a Board of Health in the Township of Montague
consisting of all members of the Township Committee, the Township
Tax Assessor and a physician to be appointed by the Township Committee.

The Township Committee shall appoint the physician for a term
of three years from the time of his appointment until a successor
is appointed as provided for under N.J.S.A. 26:3-9.
The powers and duties of the Board of Health shall be coextensive
with the limits of the township.

The Board of Health shall hold at least four regular meetings,
that is to say, quarter-annually each year. Special meetings may be
called by the Chairperson or as provided by law.
The appointees, agents and officers of the Board of Health shall
hold their offices during the term for which they are severally appointed
and shall not be removed except for cause and after an opportunity
has been given them for a hearing.
