Upon the removal of any of the materials by
or under the direction of the officer of this township in cases where
the owner or tenant shall have refused or neglected to remove same
in the manner and within the time provided above, the officer shall
certify the cost thereof to the Board of Commissioners, which shall
examine the certificate and, if found correct, shall cause the cost
as shown thereon to be charged against the lands. The amount so charged
shall forthwith become a lien upon the lands and shall be added to
and become and form part of the taxes next to be assessed and levied
upon the lands. The lien shall bear interest at the same rate as taxes
and shall be collected and enforced by the same officers and in the
same manner as taxes.

It shall be unlawful for any owner or possessor
of land or any contractor engaged by the owner or possessor of land
to undertake any construction on any land in the Township of Long
Beach, to place or store any building materials of any sort, kind
or description including without limitation, lumber, wood, poles,
furniture, metal machines or parts of machines, masonry products,
pavers, bricks, Belgium blocks, concrete blocks, sand, gravel, topsoil,
or fill of any kind on any public street or any public right-of-way
in the Township of Long Beach.

A violation of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
III, General Penalty.
