The rapid throttle advance and/or revving of an internal combustion
engine resulting in increased noise from the engine when stopped or
docked is prohibited within Town limits.
The operation of a motor vehicle with a straight-pipe exhaust
system, an exhaust system with a cutout, bypass or similar device,
or an exhaust system that violates the state law on mufflers is also
prohibited within Town limits.
Violation of this article shall be a municipal infraction and
subject to a fine of $100. The Mayor and Council may modify and amend
the fine schedule from time to time by resolution.
