The following acts/sections are hereby adopted by reference
as though fully set forth herein: Illinois Compiled Statutes regarding
retail theft, 720 ILCS 5/16-25, 5/16-26 and 5/16-27, and Illinois
Compiled Statutes regarding theft, 720 ILCS 5/16-1.
State-supported land owned, leased or used by a public body
or district where notice has been posted or delivered, prior to entry,
that entry is forbidden;
The land of another after receiving notice from the owner-occupant
that entry is forbidden, including but not limited to entry to a residence,
a building or land being used to grow crops or vegetation.
Knowingly deposit on the land or in the building of another
any stink bomb or any offensive-smelling compound and thereby intend
to interfere with the use by another of a land or building;
Knowingly, without proper authorization, cut, injure, damage,
deface, destroy, or tamper with any fire hydrant or any public or
private firefighting equipment, or any apparatus appertaining to firefighting
equipment; or
No person shall damage the property of another by defacing, deforming,
or otherwise damaging another's property by the use of paint
or similar substance, writing instrument, etching tool or similar
device.
Any violation of the above which is not under the exclusive jurisdiction
of the Cook County State's Attorney and is not prohibited from
being prosecuted through a system of local adjudications, as provided
by statute, may be prosecuted through such local adjudication system
as an ordinance violation.
