A. 
All noises that disturb the peace or interfere with the health and quiet of the residents of the Village are prohibited at all times.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor any dog, cat or other animal that produces, creates and emits noises of a degree and kind to disturb the peace, sleep or quiet of the neighbors.
It shall be unlawful for any operator of a motor vehicle or occupant thereof or any other person to sound a horn or other signaling device except when necessary to protect human or animal life or property.

It shall be unlawful for any person to locate any stereo system, radio, television, phonograph or similar device so as to or that may project sound into the highways or neighborhood for advertising or business purposes or to cause or suffer or allow any loud, excessive or unusual noises in the operation of such device, whether for advertising or other purpose, which noise shall disturb the comfort, peace and quiet of persons in the vicinity.[1]

The Village Board of Trustees may, at its discretion, permit the use of amplification to project noise and sound on the Village streets for advertising purposes if the same is for the benefit of the public or in the event that there is satisfactory evidence for the need of the same within the discretion of the Village Board of Trustees.

Any person violating this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.
