Farm Pond Reservation is a community resource maintained by the Town of Sherborn for responsible use and enjoyment by the public. Rules are established to help protect the environment and ensure that all can safely enjoy their time at the pond.
Reservation rules are in force at all times all year long. Violators may be fined $200 and/or be prohibited from use of the reservation.
A. 
No dogs or horses are permitted anywhere on the reservation.
B. 
No food or beverages permitted except water.
C. 
No smoking; no fires; no littering.
D. 
No motors of any kind on pond.
E. 
All boats must be washed at bathhouse before launching.
F. 
Town of Sherborn boat permit required.
G. 
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
H. 
Swimming in designated areas only.
I. 
No swimming under docks or perimeter lines or hanging on ropes.
J. 
Artificial flotation devices are not permitted in water.
K. 
Diving permitted in designated areas only.
L. 
Balls and frisbees may be used only at discretion of lifeguards.
M. 
Babies and toddlers must wear swim diapers.
N. 
Use of radios or audio devices with headphones only.
O. 
Low sand chairs only.
P. 
No bike riding on the beach.
Q. 
No running on docks.
R. 
No personal belongings on docks.
S. 
No introduction of foreign substances into pond, including soap, detergents, gas or oil.
T. 
No fishing from beach when swimmers are present.
