The power which is conferred and the duties which are imposed
upon a commission, board, department or office under the General Statutes,
special acts concerning the Town or any ordinance or regulation in
force at the time this Charter shall take effect, if such commission,
board, department or office is abolished by this Charter, shall be
thereafter exercised and discharged by the commission, board, department
or office upon which are imposed corresponding or like functions,
powers and duties under the provisions of this Charter.
This Charter may be amended in the manner prescribed by the
General Statutes and amendments thereto.
If any portion of this Charter shall at any time be found to
be unconstitutional, such finding shall not affect the remainder hereof.
The effective date of these revisions, if adopted by a referendum,
shall be the day immediately following such referendum.
