There is hereby created a Department of Sewer Utility. The head
of the Department of Sewer Utility shall be the Director of the Department
of Sewer Utility. The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor with
the advice and consent of the Township Council and shall serve until
the appointment and qualification of a successor. The Department Head
shall receive compensation as shall be fixed by the Salary Ordinance.
The Director shall be the appointing authority for all technical personnel
necessary to carry out the functions of the Department. The Director
shall be subject to the direction and supervision of the Mayor, and
shall be responsible for the proper and efficient conduct of Sewer
Utility functions and shall supervise and direct the work of the Department
of Sewer Utility and all divisions that shall be established therein
from time to time.
