As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
AMUSEMENT PARKS, CARNIVALS AND CIRCUSES
Any place operating carousels, whips, kiddie rides and similar devices
or exhibitions which is open to the public and for which the owner or operator
thereof charges a fee.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate an amusement ride without a license. Applicants for a license shall comply with the provisions of Chapter
234, Licensing, in addition to the provisions herein.
The following regulations shall apply to all public amusement parks:
A. No licensee shall permit any person under the age of
18 years to operate any amusement device or ride.
B. No licensee shall permit the operation of the licensed
amusement rides before 9:00 a.m. or after 12:00 midnight.
C. No person shall be granted a license under this chapter
unless he first furnishes evidence to the Township Clerk in form of a policy
certificate and that he carries public liability insurance in amounts of not
less than $300,000 for one person and $1,000,000 for any one accident.
D. Licensed premises shall be kept clean and free from waste
materials and debris at all times.
E. Licensed premises shall provide special police protection
to the degree required by the Chief of Police.
