As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
MINK RANCH
Any premises within the Township where two or more mink are raised,
grown, kept and maintained.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, conduct or maintain a mink ranch within the Township unless a permit is obtained from the Office of Health in the Township, which approval shall be based upon the location, suitability and fitness of the premises for use as a mink ranch and compliance of the premises with Chapter
430, Zoning. A written license for such operation, conduct or maintenance of a mink ranch shall be first had and obtained from the Township Council.
A fee of $100 shall be paid for the license.
The number of licenses issued and outstanding in the Township at the
same time shall not exceed four, and no new license shall be granted to any
applicant therefor unless the number issued and outstanding at the same time
is less than two.
The licensee shall comply with all applicable statutes, ordinances and
regulations now existing or hereafter promulgated and with such rules and
regulations that may hereafter be established and the following:
A. All mink shall be raised off the ground to allow for
proper cleaning and disinfecting of the area.
B. The area beneath which the mink are raised shall be disinfected
with an effective disinfectant at least once each week and shall be limed
once each month except the months of May and June.
C. Refuse and manure shall be removed three times weekly
from the grounds above which the mink are raised and be properly buried or
disposed of.
D. All food fed to mink and not consumed as well as spoiled
food shall be removed daily and be properly buried.
E. Proper fly and rodent control shall be maintained.
F. Mink raising shall be conducted in such a manner as not
to constitute a nuisance, the constitution of which shall be determined by
the Office of Health.
