As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
TRUCK TERMINAL
Any land and premises or lands or premises used for the transfer
of materials and other personal property by truck, which lands or premises
are used for the purpose of either storing materials temporarily for eventual
transfer to another point or which lands or premises are used for the purpose
of receiving materials and personal property for whatever purpose other than
resale which are shipped into the Township by trucks which use the licensed
premises as the point of delivery or regular point of temporary stopover for
trucks.

All truck terminals now or hereafter existing in the Township shall be licensed under the terms and conditions hereafter stated. Additionally, applicants shall comply with the provisions of Chapter
234, Licensing.

The license fee for operation of a truck terminal shall be $100 annually
for the term commencing January 1 to December 31.
No explosives or volatile substances shall be stored in a truck terminal
in the Township unless permission is obtained from the Chief of Police who
shall satisfy himself that all applicable Township ordinances and regulations
as well as any pertinent state laws with respect to the storage and handling
of explosive and volatile substances have been complied with in full.
Truck terminals shall be operated in such a manner as to least disturb
adjoining property owners, and particularly as follows:
A. No lights shall be used at night which shine on adjoining
residents.
B. Nighttime operations shall be carried on in a manner
which will not disturb the repose of neighbors.
C. Driveways and roads used by trucks for access to main
thoroughfares shall be kept oiled and free from dust at all times.
D. No accumulation of waste or debris shall be permitted
on the lands or premises or the truck or vehicle in which goods and chattels
are stored.
