No person shall set fire to or burn or cause
to be set fire to or burn wastepaper, rubbish or flammable material
other than a device designed and used for cooking purposes.

Any person, corporation or association violating
any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof,
be punishable by a fine of not less than $250 nor more than $1,000
or a term of imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
