No person shall paint or authorize to be painted a curb within the corporate limits of the Town of Georgetown, except for the purpose of numbering houses or lots, and pursuant to the following:
A. 
Numbers shall be black, on a white rectangular background.
B. 
Numbers shall be four inches in height.
C. 
Numbers shall be painted in block lettering, subject to the prior approval of the Town manager.
D. 
There shall be two to 2 1/2 inches of spacing on either side of painted numbers.

Any person violating any provision of this article shall pay such fines as set out in Chapter 1, Article III, General Penalty.
Nothing herein shall be deemed to limit the authority of the Town or its agents to paint curbs for traffic or parking regulation purposes.
