Water rates within the corporate limits of the Town of Georgetown are pursuant to § 98-5.
There is hereby established a bulk user rate for commercial
users of the municipal water system who qualify as bulk users. For
purposes of this provision, a "bulk user" shall mean a commercial
user of the water system which averages 150,000 gallons per day usage
per meter for a consecutive period of 30 days. The Town Manager is
authorized to negotiate an agreement with said customer, subject to
approval by the Town Council, which, among other things, provides
for imposition of the bulk user rate during that portion of the fiscal
year when the customer meets the bulk user definition.
