Right-of-way monuments shall be placed at all
intersecting lines, angle points, points of tangency and points of
curvature, and on line intervals not exceeding 1,000 feet. All monuments
shall be placed by a licensed land surveyor.
Right-of-way monuments shall be three-fourths-inch-diameter
rods 36 inches long. Pipe will not be approved for monuments. The
monuments shall be driven flush with the ground and marked with a
two-by-two-inch wooden guard stakes. Before the street will be accepted
for maintenance by the Town, all monuments must be placed. Any monuments
which are disturbed or destroyed during construction shall be replaced
by the subdivider prior to acceptance.
