No individual will be allowed to consume alcoholic
beverages on, in or about the various recreation facilities in the
City of Brigantine. For the purposes of this section, anyone who possesses
an open container of alcoholic beverage will be considered to have
consumed the same.
The tennis courts at the 42nd Street Recreation
Complex may be used from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Any person who plays
on said courts prior to the designated starting time or subsequent
to the designated closing time shall be considered in violation of
this article.
No disorderly conduct, fighting, graffiti or
other damage to property or person shall be permitted at any of the
recreational complexes within the City of Brigantine.
No foul or abusive language shall be permitted
at any of the recreational areas within the City of Brigantine.
No person shall cause, allow or permit the operating
or playing of any radio, tape player, "boom box," compact disc or
other similar device at any recreational facility located within the
City of Brigantine.

A. The skate park will be operated as an unsupervised facility.
B. The following rules are established. Signs which recite the rules
and regulations for use of the facility shall be posted at the entrance
and at least one conspicuous place inside the facility.
(1) The skate park will be used for skateboards only.
(2) All users are required to wear shoes, helmets, knee pads, wrist guards,
and elbow pads. All equipment must be worn to the manufacturer's
specifications.
(3) No food or glass containers are permitted. No pets are permitted.
(4) Use of personally owned ramps, boxes, rails or other similar items
is prohibited.
(5) The use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco are prohibited. Additionally,
profanity, abusive language, and vandalism are prohibited. Violations
may result in expulsion from the facility and be further subjected
to any and all penalties provided by law.
(6) Backpacks, bags, jackets, and other articles of clothing and personal
belongings must be placed in an appropriate area and away from the
area where people skate, to avoid the possibility of injury.
(7) Skateboarding and inline skating are prohibited on City property
surrounding the skate park; for example, the Community Education and
Recreation grounds, sidewalks and parking lots.
(8) The City suggests that a parent or guardian accompany children under
the age of 12 when skating in the skate park.
(9) The skate park will be open daily from dawn to dusk and shall only
be used during open hours. The City reserves the right to close the
skate park at any time, at its discretion.
(10)
The skate park will be closed when weather is inclement. No
skateboarding shall be permitted when the equipment is wet or icy.
(11)
The skate park will be closed when equipment is damaged or for
routine maintenance.
(12)
Any organization wishing to use the skate park for an event
must receive prior written approval from the City Manager's office.

A. Hours. The hockey facilities located on 42nd Street may be used from
9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during daylight saving time and from 9:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. during standard time unless otherwise permitted. The
City reserves the right to close the park at an earlier hour or for
any reason at the City's discretion.
B. Permitted use. The hockey facilities located on 42nd Street are to
be used for hockey purposes only. Those playing hockey shall be required
to wear all necessary equipment, including, but not limited to, helmet,
gloves, elbow pads, mouth guard, shin guards, cups or pelvic protection,
etc.
C. Prohibited use: certain activities prohibited at the hockey facilities
located on 42nd Street, including, but not limited to, bicycling,
skateboarding, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, or any other
ball playing of any kind and all other prohibitive activities as further
listed in this article.

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this Article
I shall be subject to a penalty for each offense of a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both, in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge and may be subject to removal from the Recreational Complex for any violations thereof.
