This enactment shall be known as the "Building
Construction and Maintenance Code of the Town of Niskayuna."
As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
The duly appointed Building Inspector of the Town of Niskayuna
or any duly appointed deputy or assistant.
The person shown in the records of the County Clerk of Schenectady
County as the holder of title to real property or any agent designated
by such person.
An individual human being or a firm, partnership, corporation,
association or trustee.

The New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (Uniform Code) and the New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code shall be applicable to the Town of Niskayuna in accordance with Article 18 of the Executive Law of the State of New York, and Article IX of this chapter of the Code of the Town of Niskayuna.
