Trees, flowers and shrubs — See Ch. 290.
Any part or portion of the site which has been designated as a landscaping planting area under the original site development plan in all commercial and residential sites, including apartments and townhouses but excluding single and multifamily dwelling units, shall be planted, maintained, kept free of all debris, rubbish, weeds and tall grass in order to perpetuate the landscaping as required by the original development plan.
A replacement program for nonsurviving plant material should be included in any development plan.
Any person who violates this chapter shall be subject to a fine of up to $1,000 per violation, plus costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of such fine and costs shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days.
